SPAM Enforcement

As with any body of laws, the statutes, their definitions, and the enforcement vary from state to state in regards to unsolicited commercial email. Furthermore, there may be numerous federal agencies tracking SPAM related activities, including the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), which has some affect at regulating the handling of unsolicited commercial email. Ultimately, it would be difficult to enforce violators in a uniformed basis and thus requires everyones participation. Therefore be vigilant and do our own due diligence.
